Lake Skadar is the biggest freshwater lake on the Balkan Pepinsula. It was named after the city of Shkodra in northern Albania, whose name derives from the Greek word ” Scutari “. National Park „Lake Skadar“ covers an area of 40.000 ha, of which 391 km2 area is occupied by the lake. National park is one of the wetlands under the protection of the Ramsar Convention and it is of a big international importance.

Ada Bojana is island where touristic center in a form of triangle is located – river surrounds two sides of the island, and the third side is surrounded by the sea (3 km long sand beach).
There are many sports activities on Ada Bojana: horse riding, playing tennis and table tennis, volleyball playing, surfing, carriage rides, etc.
Within the Durmitor National Park there are special highlighted areas, which are: forests of spruce and fir in the basin of the Mlin creek; a black pine complex in the Tara Canyon; Black Lake with trees; valley of Škrčka lake and narrowed area of Sušica Canyon; Barno Lake; Zabojsko Lake with its surroundings; and the narrow valley of the river Tara Canyon.
Njegoš Mausoleum is located on the Jezerca peak and is dedicated to Petar II Petrović Njegoš, who was one of the biggest serbian and montenegrin poets, Montenegrin king and bishop. Mausoleum was built by the project of Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović, on the same place where Njegoševa covenant churchwas destroyed.
The Monastery of Ostrog is a monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church placed against an almost vertical background, high up in the large rock of Ostroška Greda, in Montenegro. It is dedicated to Saint Basil of Ostrog. His tomb in a cave-church soon became a site of pilgrimage for Christians (both Orthodox and Roman Catholic).
Herceg Novi is located between Boka Bay and mountain Orjen (1.895 m). Herceg Novi has approximately 200 sunny days a year. In July and August there are 11 hours of sunshine a day. The average annual temperature is 16.2 °C.
