Montenegro Coast is one of the most beautiful in the World. Some of Coast destinations are selected in Top 10 World Tourist Destinations (for example: Sveti Stefan). Tourists from all over the world enjoy in beautiful beaches across the Montenegro Coast. The Montenegrin coast is 293 km long with 73 km of beaches spread over 117 locations. Choose the one most to your liking – sand, pebble or rock beach. You can choose a long beach, or a small and intimate one. Choose a beach with various modern amenities or a virgin rustic one.

Ulcinj

The coast of Ulcinj is 32, 72 km long, of which 18,10km are beaches. The most beautiful and the largest are sandy beaches of 14, 40 km length. Among numerous beaches (there are about 25 of them), with its beauty, size and the surrounding ambience only sandy beaches: Velika plaza (The Big beach), Mala plaza (The Small beach), Ada Bojana, as well as the beaches Borove sume (The Pine forests) and Valdanos stand out. Those who have visited the beaches of Ulcinj and that they remained loyal for many years, stating their impressions, states that the stay at these beaches is a real experience of “heaven on earth”. If that were indeed the case, confirms the nature that surrounds Ulcinj beach: fine sand, warm sea – azure blue, cane, wooden houses or just a raft of Robinson style, sun and quiet occasionally interrupted by a whir waves.

Big Beach – There almost does not exist a tourist who has spent his vacation in Ulcinj and that hasn’t visited the Ulcinj`s Big beach (Velika Plaza). That beautiful beach is only 5 kilometers away from the center of Ulcinj. The Big beach is 13 km long and 60 m wide.

Small beach in Ulcinj or as it is otherwise called city beach. The length of the beach is 376 meters and the surface is 12.787 m. Fine sand covers its sandy strand. The Little beach is situated in one of the most beautiful coves of Ulcinj, between the peninsulas Ratislava and Starogradska Tvrdjava (Old town fortress).

Ada Bojana– perhaps the most beautiful beach in Montenegro , a stunning sandy island in the middle of a river, with semi-private beaches and a reputation for exclusivity.  Ada Bojana is near Ulcinj and easily accessible by car or bus.  Just imagine: the entire island encircled by white sandy beaches, a cool drink by the seaside awaits all who take the short journey.

Bar                              

The largest part of the shore of the Bar area is steep and stony, with inlets, gulfs, sheer cliffs and standee shore brink. As there is a small number of islands and ridges, the shore of Bar is quite exposed to the waves.  The length of Bar shore that can be used for swimming is 4.964 meters.

Red beach-Between the cliff Djonov krs (The stone of Djono), rocky shore and plateau Crvanj, the Red beach of Bar is situated. That beach is covered by small-grained gravel and with the sand of reddish color, which gives a particular significance to the beach. Very nice and not so long beach near Bar city.

Budva Riviera

Jaz – is one of the three largest beaches on the Montenegrin Coast. It is 1200m long and it is 2.5 km north from Budva. Jaz is a sandy beach, both in the water and on the beach. It is ideal for campers because in its background is situated a camp with the capacity of 2000 places. It is surrounded by dense Mediterranean vegetation.  It consists of two parts, one 850 m long and the other, formerly a nudist beach, 450 m long.

Mogren– beach is made of 2 smaller beaches with the total length of 350 m. Beaches are connected with the tunnel and they spread from the cape Mogren to the Vidikovac Hotel.Their natural environment place Mogren into the category of most attractive beaches, with sand of medium particle size, both on the beach itself and in water. The beach is well exposed to sun and southerly wind. From the back, it is protected by the hill of Spas covered in dense pine and oak woods.. It is situated at 150m from the Old town of Budva and a concrete strand leads towards it. The beach got its name after the Spanish mariner Morgini who disembarked here after a shipwreck.

Slovenska beach– stretches from the Budva marina to the Park hotel, 1,600 m (5,249 ft) in total length.This is also a sandy beach and a hotel complex with the same name is situated in its backgrounds. The beach also possesses few sport grounds.

Saint Nikola– The inevitable part of the Riviera is the island Saint Nicholas, at the distance lesser than 1km from Budva. It has 3 sandy beaches with total length of 840m and the island is covered with various Mediterranean vegetations. The most beautiful beaches are situated on the south part of the island and those are reachable only by boat. The Sveti Nikola island is the main excursion site in Budva area. There are many small beaches around the island, accessible only by boat.

Guvance –  is a small sandy beach located below the walking path near the tunnel leading to Bečići. It is 80 m  long.There is a cafe bar on this beach where you can have a cold refreshment. The beach faces West and you can enjoy in its unforgettable sunsets.

Bečići– beach is one of the largest and most beautiful beaches in the South Adriatic. It is a sandy beach, 1,950 m  long and stretches from Zavala to Djevištenje. In its background you will find innumerous objects which will make your staying even more pleasant.

Kamenovo– beach is the first in a series of 16 smaller beaches lying between the town of Bečići and “Perazića do”.Kamenovo beach is 330m long. This is a sandy beach with the turquoise colour of water.

Pržno– beach is located in front of the picturesque Mediterranean settlement of the same name. Przno beach stretches from cape Kamenovo to cape Milocer . It is a sandy beach, 260m long. The sunset watching from this beach is something you shouldn’t miss!

Queen’s beach- At the 500m distance from Sveti Stefan is situated one of the most beautiful beaches on the Mediterranean, the Queen’s beach. It faces West and offers the amazing sunset. It is a small beach, 200m long. It is situated under the former summer residence of the King Alexander Karadjordjevic. This was a favourite beach of his wife, Queen Marija.

Miločer– Milocer beach is also known under the name of “King’s beach”. It is situated next to the Queen’s beach and it is surrounded by 18 acres of park which have some exotic species such as: Lebanon cedar, tropical mimosa, cactus, agaves and many others. The beach is 280m long and it is also a sandy beach.

Sveti Stefan– On this most attractive place on the Adriatic coast we meet with the vary rare natural phenomena. It is a sandy isthmus which connects the island and the land. From both sides of the tombola are situated sandy beaches, one of each side. The colour of sand is pink and the beach is 1170 m long. Hotel Sveti Stefan is situated on the island and in the vicinity you will find a diving club, restaurants, cafe bars, parking, park…

Drobni pijesak – Going south, towards Petrovac we meet with inumerous small, secluded beaches, most of them approachable only by water. Beach Drobni pijesak stands out for its beauty. It is 250m long and it is the favourite beach of the local people. In the past, on this beach was held the assembly of the Pastrovici brotherhood leaders called Bankada.

Perazića do – Beach Perazića Do is situated in a cove under the Rezevici Monastery. It is a small, sandy beach 40m long. Next to the beach is situated the AS hotel as well as the marine for small boats.

Petrovac beach– Sandy beach 600 m long with the red colour of sand is one of the most frequented beaches on the Riviera. The special charms of the beach are two small islands in its vicinity.

Lučice– Very beautiful beach which although is much frequented remained naturally untouched. It is situated 500m south from the Petrovac beach. It has a form of a small bay and it is 220m long. It is also a sandy beach surrounded by pine forest and few bars.

Buljarica–  is possibly the greatest development potential along the Montenegrin coast. Buljarica field and the slopes of Dubovica hill are well suited for the development of all types of tourism. Buljarica cove stretches from “Resovo brdo” cove to Dubovica, and is a largest beach of the Budva Riviera. It is 1 km from Petrovac in the direction of Bar, and is 2,250 m  long.
