Prcanj is an urban settlement in Kotor in Montenegro. It is located on the coast of the Bay of Kotor. It’s a homeland to famous warriors from Boka as well as to skillful sailors who maintained the first postal traffic between Venice and Constantinople back to XVII century. Today, Prcanj is a touristic place and treasury of cultural and historical monuments that amaze visitors. Among them, on the hillside, the church dedicated to the birth of Madonna has a dominant place. Near the church, there are busts of Njegos, Andrija Zmajevic, Josip Juraj Strosmajer, Andrija Kacic Miosic, Frano Ucelinije and Ivo Vizin, sailor who travelled around the world.
